Old student login

Each person who has completed one 10-day Vipassana course as taught by S.N.Goenka, in any country, becomes an old student and can access Old Students Regional Websites around the world.

A login and the password are required to proceed further. If you do not have them yet, please contact the nearest centre to get the necessary information.

Serving between Courses

Work periods are necessary to maintain and improve the centre. All kinds of projects are undertaken, such as gardening, office work, construction, cleaning, cooking and painting. There is also a need for old students to work in the kitchen preparing food for the other servers. Whatever your particular skills or abilities, your help during these work periods is always welcome. Select a Work Period from the Course Schedule; you can choose to come for the whole time or only part of it.

Special Skills

Although special skills are not necessary for giving Dhamma service, they may prove to be very useful. There are often jobs, large and small, e.g. for carpenters, plumbers, gardeners, accountants or those with office or computer skills. If you think your particular skill might be useful at the centre, please contact the centre coordinator. From time to time particular skills are needed by the Trust.

Staying Longer

Long-term Dhamma service is a great opportunity to strengthen and deepen your practice of Vipassana by meditating and serving at the centre for longer periods of time – a month, a season or even a year. See here for more details.
